Cheerleading is a great sport for students in grades 9-12. The team season runs from September to May. On the cheerleading team, students will learn multiple cheers/chants, stunting, tumbling, and dance. The ABJ cheerleading team cheers at school events including football games, and can also perform routines competitively. Through cheerleading, students will learn key skills such as sportsmanship, leadership, communication, teamwork, dedication, trust, and honesty. The coaches for ABJ’s cheer team this year are Kennedy Coull and Asia Merinsky. The teacher liaison is Heather Thomson.
